Supporting global eye health with Orbis International: How we are making a difference this October

At Babiators, we believe that protecting children’s vision is one of the most important things we can do. That’s why this October, we are partnering with Orbis International to improve eye care around the world for World Sight Day (10th October).

Orbis are a leading global charity focused on improving eye care around the world. For every pair of Babiators frames sold during the month of October, we will donate £1 to support Orbis in their mission to improve vision care and outcomes for all.

Why are we partnering with Orbis International?

Orbis International works tirelessly to prevent avoidable blindness and restore sight in regions where eye care is limited or inaccessible. Through their state-of-the-art flying eye hospital, in-country programs, and global advocacy, Orbis brings quality eye care to communities that need it the most.

Their mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to eye health and ensuring that children, no matter where they are, have the opportunity to see the world clearly.

What Is World Sight Day?

World Sight Day is an annual event held on the second Thursday of October to raise awareness about vision impairment and blindness. Coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), the day serves as a global platform to promote the importance of good vision and highlight the need for better access to eye care services.
