Blue Series, The Polarised Collection

Jul 10, 2020

We think your little adventurer deserves the best eye protection they can get when they are out exploring this amazing world. Our children sunglasses are not only cool and stylish, they are also safe and durable. We have a long list of different styles, shapes and designs to suit every mini personality, plus we also have our Blue Series range. We wanted to increase our product range to include polarised lenses too for those looking for that extra vision clarity, meet the Babiators Blue Series.

What does polarised mean?

Polarised glasses have an additional coating designed to reduce the sun’s glare and provide additional clarity while keeping eyes protected. Glare is what happens when the sun hits a flat surface and the light is reflected back into your eye at a greater magnitude. Polarised lenses block glare from light reflecting off surfaces such as glass, water and snow better than other type of sunglasses lenses, therefore improving the clarity of your vision. The benefits include improved visual comfort, reduced eye strain, better perception of contrast and colours and of course, reduced glare and reflection of the sun’s rays into your eyes.

While polarised lenses may be a bit more expensive than conventional sunglasses, some consumers prefer polarised sunglasses because they selectively block out glare, rather than making the whole field of vision dimmer.

Polarized Children Sunglasses

Babiators Blue Series

We wanted to offer our customers a full range of different sunglasses that offer the best eye protection for little eyes. All Babiators have UV400 lenses, offering 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays. But the difference with the Blue Series range, is all of the sunglasses in this collection have mirrored polarised lenses to help reduce glare.

Polarised sunglasses always have been very popular because they offer people improved visual comfort with clearer vision and reduce the sun’s glare, they are especially popular with keen skiers or people that spend a lot of time near water or driving.

Polarized Children Sunglasses

Polarised lenses are especially recommended for children under the age of 18 because the lenses in children’s eyes are clearer (with less pigmentation) than those in an adult's lens, which allows for greater levels of damaging UV light to enter the eye. With our Blue Series range you get the same durable and safe sunglasses that offer 100% UVA/UVB protection, with the extra comfort of polarised lenses too, plus they have that extra touch of style with their mirrored lenses too.

Shop the Blue Series collection for ages 0-6+ years. Each pair includes a cool sunglasses case, and all 0-2 sizes come with a free silicone strap included.
