Telling a Story with Babiators Sunglasses
From the 1st to the 9th of February, we’re celebrating National Storytelling Week here at Babiators.
National Storytelling Week is an annual celebration of the power of sharing stories. Stories are important because they help us learn about the world around us and step into someone else’s shoes. Stories can help little ones to relax, learn, escape and develop literacy skills.
There are plenty of fun activities and resources available online for National Storytelling Week, including online storytelling workshops.
The theme for this year’s National Storytelling Week is Reimagine Your World. Whether you see something new on the school run, hear a strange noise at nighttime, or try a new kind of food, it’s about discovering that the world around you is full of secret places, possibilities and untold stories. The most extraordinary story can come from the most unexpected of places.
We want little ones to rethink how they see the world and reimagine their experiences, turning them into something fantastical and magical. And what better way to get them into character than with a fabulous pair of Babiators sunglasses?

The Babiators Story
Once upon a time, best friends Molly, Ted, Carolyn and Matthew lived on a military base in Beaufort, SC. Molly noticed her fellow military wives’ kids were squinting in the sun while their pilot parents stood protected and stylish in their aviator sunglasses.
Suddenly, Molly had an idea to create safe, stylish and durable sunglasses for children that they would love to wear. She shared her idea with Ted who said: “Let’s make them, and we can call them Babiators!”
And so, Babiators was born, and has since been on a mission to protect little one’s eyes so they can get out and explore the awesome world around them.
Babiators are built to withstand every adventure life and kids throw at them, inspiring us all to live with more care, more style and more joy.
